Delafield skatepark (located within Sports Commons) offers a mini-ramp, flat-bar, angled square-bar, manny pad, pyramid, roll-in with a fly box, handrail/hubba, and top rail.
The overall layout of the park is well constructed. Delafield skatepark caters well to new skaters as it has smooth ground and mellow banks/quarters. The low rails and manny pad also help when learning new tricks. Since Delafield is a plastic (Skatelite) park it is more forgiving when falling compared to concrete.
However, this does not mean more advanced skateboarders won’t find it fun. Mellow banks and quarter pipes means frontside/backside airs can be easily boosted and the placement of the rails and manny pad make for great line possibilities. It takes some ingenuity and skill to find all of the hidden line possibilities that this park offers but once uncovered it is easy to rip around from transfer to transfer.
Delafield Skatepark is located off of I-94 on Silvernail rd.
